APPARTMENT IN CASTLE
The flat is arranged on two floors of about 100 square meters and is well-preserved, with its ancient floors (cotto tiles) and ceilings (timber-beams and cotto tiles).The ground floor consists of a living room with a fireplace, a tavern (its stonewall is that of the castle whch was present in that place around the 12th century), a bathroom and a small utlity room. Scenic views on both “Piazza del Castello” and the “sweet” hills of Maremma can be enjoied from the flat. It must be observed that Montemerano has a strategic geographic location in a region which was the birthplace of the Etruscan culture: in fact, several archeological sites and the charming medieval towns of Sovana, Pitigliano, Capalbio nd Sorano are all nearby, Also the beachs of Costa D' Argento, Capalbio, Ansedonia anthe Talamone natural park are close while Rome and Siena can be reached in less than two hours.
